MRS. SUSUD'S 2ND GRADE CLASS

Dear Parents, 

​

       My name is Laura Susud and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! Teaching allows me to serve, develop relationships, be challenged, amazed, reflective, humbled, creative, learn and so much more. Children are such a gift and I am grateful for the opportunity to be their teacher this year.

       My husband's name is Jacob and we just celebrated our 1st year of marriage this past summer! Some things we love are spending time with our family and friends, adventure, playing games, soccer, and eating Mexican food. We met in college where we attended Taylor University located in Upland, Indiana. I completed my first year of teaching in Upland, and we decided to move to Colorado where I am originally from after getting married. This will be my second year at MHE teaching 2nd Grade, and my 3rd year of teaching overall! What's great about teaching is that you are constantly learning, so I am hopeful/anticipating that each year I will grow in my capacity and be a better teacher!

      I believe there is so much power in family. That being said, I am excited to be able to work with you as we work together to help your child grow this year! In my past 2 years of teaching, each year has been special in different ways and I look forward to what this 3rd year will bring. :)
