MRS. SUSUD'S 2ND GRADE CLASS

Dear Parents, 

​

       My name is Laura Susud and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! Teaching allows me to serve, develop relationships, be challenged, amazed, reflective, humbled, creative, learn and so much more. Children are such a gift and I am grateful for the opportunity to work together this year.

​

       My husband's name is Jacob and we just celebrated our 3rd year of marriage this past summer! Some things we love are spending time with our family and friends, adventure, playing games, soccer, and eating good food. We met in college where we attended Taylor University located in Upland, Indiana. Another huge reason why Taylor is so special is because it is where I became passionate about teaching. I learned and studied the mission of teaching and am so grateful I get to be a teacher. I have taught 4 years now and this will be my 5th! I have taught 2 years in Indiana and 2 years in Colorado and was here at Mammoth Heights when I taught in Colorado! I am so thankful and excited to be back at MHE in 2nd grade.

     There is so much power in family. That being said, I am excited to be able to work with you as we team together to help your child grow this year! In my past 4 years of teaching, each year has been special in different ways and I look forward to what this new year will bring. :)
